Large Openings

I think most of us can agree that there’s something appealing about houses with big windows and doors. They give the houses a more opulent and appealing appearance.

Large windows actually work incredibly well at bringing in natural light, providing unobstructed views of the outside world, letting fresh air in, and promoting air circulation—all of which are the main reasons windows were created in the first place.

That being said, examine your outdated doors and windows. Because traditional wooden windows (and glass doors) lack intrinsic strength, they sometimes require cross elements to hold their frames, which can restrict sunlight and the view.
